Privacy policy

XPages Master is run by Calibre Code USA ("we"). This page says what the site stores about you, who receives it, and how to have it removed. It describes what the software actually does.

• Your account: your email address, your role, a salted hash of your password (never the password), the public part of any passkey you register, and the date you last signed in.
• Your profile picture, if you add one: a re-drawn 256 px copy, not the file you sent.
• Your questions and reviews: every question you ask, every code sample you paste, and every answer and review, saved to your account so you can reopen them. Reviews also produce a short video that is kept.
• Your Code Book connection: if you connect a Code Book account, its key, encrypted on our server and never sent to your browser. You can disconnect it at any time.
• A security record: sign-ins and account changes (such as a password change or a passkey added), each with the time and your IP address.
• Your session: a record that you are signed in, which expires after 12 hours (see Cookies).
• Server logs: they record that a request happened, how long it took and whether it worked. They do not contain your questions, your code or the answers.

• Code Book and its AI model. To answer a question or review code, your text is sent through Code Book to the model. That model is reached over an external connection, so the text leaves our servers and is subject to that provider's terms. The same exchange is kept as a chat in your Code Book account.
• Video Studio, which receives the code and findings of a review to make its video, and keeps the video file.
• Our database host (MongoDB Atlas), where the data above is stored.
• Our email server, if notifications are switched on. It receives your address and a short message such as "your password was changed". Messages never contain a password.

Nothing is sent to advertisers or analytics services; the site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.

Questions, answers, reviews, videos and the security record are kept until we remove them. The site has no delete button yet, so deletion is by request (below). We do not treat users differently by country.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account together with your chats and reviews. Do not paste secrets, passwords or personal data of other people into a question or review.

To ask, contact the administrator who created your account. Deleting from our database does not remove copies held by Code Book or Video Studio; we will ask them to remove what they hold for you, but their own terms apply.

If this changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
